Upon arrival in Ljubljana, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to relax or to begin exploring the smallest greenest capital in Europe.
In the morning, enjoy a private 2-hour sightseeing tour of Ljubljana and see the highlights: the picturesque open-air Central Market, the Three Bridges, the Baroque Town hall, and the Robba Fountain. The rest of the day is free for independent activities. (B)
Travel to the Karst region. Your first stop is at the Postojna Cave, one of the largest in Europe. Tour this unique subterranean world by miniature electric train. Continue to Predjama Castle dramatically hanging in over a 100-meter-high vertical cliff. Continue to Ljubljana’s coastal Mediterranean town of Portoroz “Port of Roses”, the rest of the day is free. Today you have a full day at leisure. You may consider an optional excursion to the charming coastal town of Piran, a pleasant and attractive town, tucked in between the sea and mighty town walls. Perhaps, spend the day at a spa (B)
A scenic road will bring you to a Lipica stud farm to see the Lipizzaner horses where you will have a private tour of the estate: the stables, the serene pastures, and, the horses. After a short stop in the charming little village of Stanjel, continue your journey to Bled. (B)
A private sightseeing tour shows you the highlights of this endearing town on the shores of Lake Bled. Here, you visit the imposing Bled Castle, perched on a cliff high above the lake. In the afternoon, you travel to Skofja Loka, a beautiful medieval town with a castle that rises above the confluence of the two Sora Rivers: Poljanska Sora, and Selska Sora. After the sightseeing tour, you return to Bled. (B)
After breakfast, you are transferred to Ljubljana airport for your flight home. (B)
