    Day 1 – Sunday: Arrival in Lisbon

    Upon your arrival at Lisbon airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure. Meet the Tour Leader in the hotel lobby, for a welcome drink & dinner. Overnight in Lisbon. (D)

     

    Day 2 – Monday: In Lisbon

    Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Discover Lisbon on a full-day tour through the historic Centre featuring, among many of the major sites, the Marques de Pombal, Rossio and Comercio squares. Visit the Belem quarter and admire the monuments of the discoveries, Belem tower and Jeronimos monastery (admission not included). Return to the hotel on your own. Overnight in Lisbon. (B,O)

     

    Day 3 – Tuesday: Lisbon (Excursion to Óbidos & Nazare)

    After breakfast this morning, depart towards the north, for a visit to the medieval village of Óbidos.  Visit the »Ginjinha« Liquor factory, where you can learn about the process of production and enjoy a liquor tasting. Continue to Nazaré, for a visit of the village and to admire the lighthouse with its famous big waves.  Enjoy some free time for lunch in the fishing village before returning back to Lisbon for the night. (B,O)

     

    Day 4 – Wednesday: Sintra and Algarve

    After breakfast, depart towards Sintra, for visit to the Sintra National Palace. Proceed to Cascais for a short panoramic walking tour and some free time in this quaint town. We continue south to Algarve region. On arrival check-in and dinner at your hotel. (B,D,O)

     

    Day 5 – Thursday: Algarve, Olhão & Tavira

    Breakfast at hotel. Start the day with a walking tour in Olhão, important fishing town, and visit the important local market. Continue to Moncarapacho to experience a visit to a local Olive Oil producer, were you can see their Olive plantation, learn about the production method and have an olive oil tasting. Depart to Tavira for a walking tour through the typical cobbled streets. Visit the castle to enjoy the best view over the city. Last stop at Cancela Velha village where Ria Formosa meets the Atlantic ocean. Overnight in Algarve. (B,O)

     

    Day 6 – Friday: Algarve (Excursion to to Cabo de São Vicente, Sagres and Lagos)

    Breakfast at the hotel. Start the day with a visit to Cabo de São  Vicente, the most southwesterly point of Europe, that, up until the 14th century, was considered the end of the known world. Guarding the busy shipping lines is one of Europe’s brightest lighthouses that can be seen 60 miles away. Continue to Sagres, in the extreme western tip of Algarve, one of the most remote regions of Portugal an area of barren, windswept landscapes, towering cliffs and raging seas. Visit to the Sagres Fortress, from where Henry the Navigator settle and study the oceans to discover new maritime routes. Proceed to Lagos for free time for lunch (not included) and short walking tour in city center. Return to hotel. Free evening for your personal activities. Overnight in Algarve. (B,O)

     

    Day 7 – Saturday:  Algarve to Lisbon

    Morning at leisure. Early afternoon Depart from your hotel in Algarve and return to Lisbon. Check[1]in to your hotel. Optional Dinner and Fado show at a local restaurant. Overnight in Lisbon. (B,O)

     

    Day 8 – Sunday: Depart Lisbon

    Breakfast. Check-out from hotel and transfer to Lisbon airport. (B)
