Stop in Bol, a small town on island Brac, for a swim at the Golden Horn. Enjoy the 1740-foot-long golden pebble beach said to be the best in Croatia. It is unique in that it changes shape and position depending on the winds. Return to your boat for lunch, then head to Hvar. Hvar is one of the most popular islands in the Adriatic and a meeting point for the international jetset. The “Croatian Madeira” is also one of the longest islands stretching along the shores of Croatia. A sightseeing tour of Hvar town shows you the first public theatre in Europe (older than Shakespeare’s theatre in the UK), the Franciscan Monastery and many more historical sights. Your evening is free to explore Hvar on your own. (B,L)
Note: Due to the limited capacity of the Hvar harbor (during peak season in July and August) port of call can be substituted for Stari Grad/Jelsa. In that case transfer by bus will be organized to and from Hvar.
We depart for the island of Korcula after breakfast, with a stop along the way to swim, cool off and relax. Lunch on board. In the late afternoon, we arrive at Korcula, the acclaimed birthplace of the famous explorer Marco Polo. Take a walking tour through its narrow, cobbled streets and see the majestic Gothic Baroque Cathedral of St. Mark. Enjoy dinner (on your own) at one of the local restaurants of your choice. (B, L)
In the morning we set sail for Dubrovnik, stopping on the way for a swim. Lunch is on board, and in the afternoon we arrive at Dubrovnik, the UNESCO World Heritage Site, so called ‘The Pearl of the Adriatic’. Our sightseeing features a panoramic drive above the Old Town and a walking tour of the “Old City”. Enjoy dinner on your own at one of numerous local restaurants of your choice. (B,L)
Departure from Dubrovnik in the morning. Our voyage to the island of Mljet includes a stop for a swim and lunch on board. We arrive in the heart of Mljet National Park to enjoy a beautiful walk around the Great Lake and the Small Lake. Overnight stay on board, docked in Mljet. (B,L)
In the morning we continue our adventure by sailing to Pucisca on Brac island for the overnight. Enjoy a swim in one of Brac’s many lovely coves and bays. Capitan’s dinner this evening. (B,L,D)
As you sail along the coast, stop at the ancient town of Omis. Its fortresses are silent stone reminders of the power and the might of the infamous pirates who once made their homes and fortunes here. You will have a possibility to book a short walking tour, followed by sail in a small boat into Cetina River Canyon, a protected nature area, continuing to Radman Mills for a local specialty snack. Return to Omis and your boat, and set sail during lunch. Arriving in Split, take a guided tour of the port, the seafront promenade, and Roman Emperor Diocletian‘s Palace. The historical center of the city is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Your evening is free in Split. (B,L)
